The String of Blue Beans (Othonna capensis) is a charming trailing succulent with plump, bean-like leaves in shades of blue-green that can flush purple under strong light. Fast-growing and drought-tolerant, it makes an excellent choice for hanging baskets or trailing from shelves, bringing texture and colour to succulent displays.

• Feeding: Fertilise every 6–8 weeks in spring and summer with cactus feed

• Temperature: Thrives in 18–28°C, keep above 10°C

• Growth: Trails up to 60–90 cm long indoors
