Dischidia nummularia ‘Shelly’ is a delicate trailing epiphyte with small, rounded, shell-like leaves that line its thin, arching stems. 

Key Features:

✔ Naturally epiphytic – grows well in airy, well-draining media

✔ Low maintenance and great for plant shelves or bathrooms

Care Instructions:

• Light: Enjoys bright, indirect light – avoid harsh direct sun

• Watering: Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings

• Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity – mist occasionally

• Soil: Use a very well-draining mix (orchid bark, coco chips, perlite)

• Feeding: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring/summer with diluted fertiliser

• Temperature: Keep between 18–26°C – sensitive to cold

• Growth: Trails up to 40–60cm over time
