Dendrobium nobile – Elegant Flowering Orchid 🌸🌿

Dendrobium nobile is a spectacular epiphytic orchid known for its gracefully arching canes covered in clusters of fragrant, delicate blooms. The flowers, which often appear in shades of white, lilac, or pink with golden throats, bloom along the length of the stems, creating a truly striking display.

✔ Produces multiple blooms per stem, often lasting weeks
✔ Flowers have a light, sweet fragrance
✔ Grows upright with elegant bamboo-like canes
✔ A showy but relatively easy-care orchid
✔ Can flower annually with the right care

Care Instructions:

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light – near an east or west-facing window is ideal

• Watering: Water thoroughly, then let the top half of the pot dry out before watering again

• Humidity: Enjoys moderate humidity – around 50–60% is ideal

• Soil: Use a well-draining orchid mix (bark-based)

• Feeding: Feed every 2–4 weeks during active growth with a balanced orchid fertiliser

• Rest Period: After flowering, reduce watering and stop feeding during the winter rest phase to encourage reblooming

• Temperature: Prefers 18–24°C during the day and slightly cooler nights (especially in winter)
