The Monstera Aurea Variegata is a rare and highly sought-after variegated Monstera deliciosa, prized for its vibrant yellow marbling and streaks across its large, fenestrated leaves. Unlike the white variegation of the Albo or the mint tones of the Thai Constellation, this variety boasts golden-yellow variegation, making each leaf uniquely patterned.

Care Guide:

Light: Requires bright, indirect light to maintain its striking variegation. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the yellow portions.

Watering: Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out before watering. Overwatering can cause root rot.

Humidity: Prefers high humidity (60%+) to support healthy growth. A humidifier or regular misting helps.

Temperature: Thrives in 18–27°C (65–80°F). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 12°C (54°F).

Soil & Feeding: Use a well-draining, chunky soil mix (orchid bark, perlite, and peat moss). Fertilize every 4–6 weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer during the growing season.

Growth Habit: A climbing Monstera, so a moss pole or trellis will encourage larger leaves with better fenestration.

General Tips: Due to its slower growth and variegation, it may need more light and careful watering than a standard Monstera deliciosa.
