Monstera Tetrasperma Albo (Variegated Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma)
The Monstera Tetrasperma Albo, often referred to as Variegated Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma, is a rare and stunning variegated version of the popular Mini Monstera. This fast-growing climbing plant features striking white and cream marbled variegation on its small, deeply fenestrated leaves, resembling a miniature Monstera deliciosa. Its compact size and rapid growth make it an excellent choice for indoor plant enthusiasts.
Care Guide:
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Too little light may cause the variegation to fade, while direct sunlight can scorch the white parts of the leaves.
Watering: Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry before watering. Overwatering can cause root rot, while under-watering may lead to browning.
Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity (60%+). A humidifier or occasional misting can help maintain leaf health.
Temperature: Ideal range is 18–27°C (65–80°F). Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 12°C (54°F).
Soil & Feeding: Use a well-draining, airy mix (peat moss, perlite, and orchid bark). Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season.
Growth Habit: A climbing plant, so providing a moss pole or trellis encourages larger, more fenestrated leaves.
General Tips: Due to its variegation, it may grow slower than the non-variegated version. Higher light levels will enhance its white marbling, but too much direct sun can cause leaf burn.
