Agave parryi, also known as Parry’s Agave or Artichoke Agave, is a striking, sculptural succulent native to the American Southwest. Its tight rosettes of silvery-blue leaves and dark spines make it a bold architectural statement for pots or gravel gardens.

Care Instructions:

• Light: Loves full sun – needs bright, direct light to thrive

• Watering: Water sparingly – allow the soil to dry completely between waterings

• Soil: Use well-draining gritty or cactus compost

• Feeding: Feed with a low-nitrogen cactus fertiliser in spring/summer

• Temperature: Hardy down to -10°C in well-drained soil – protect from winter wet in colder climates

• Pruning: No regular pruning needed – remove any dried or dead leaves at the base
